Keeping Your Rosary In Top Shape

We are proud of the build quality of our Bishop Sheen Rosaries, but you can adopt a few habits to ensure your Rosary will be a family heirloom for generations.  We recommend the following:

-Store your Bishop Sheen Rosary in its carrying pouch when not in use
-Avoid storing your Rosary near sharp objects such as scissors and knives
-Keep your Bishop Sheen Rosary away from water as much as possible
-To prevent discoloration of beads, keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time (for example, around your car rear-view mirror)

 

Cleaning Your Rosary

Though our Bishop Sheen Rosaries have survived many laundry cycles, we recommend hand washing your Rosary with a few common house-hold products if you feel your Rosary could use a shine:

-Pour 1 tbsp. baking soda and 1 tbsp. salt into a bowl
-Fill the bowl half full of hot water and stir the contents of the bowl to mix them
-Submerge the beads in the solution
-Wait 10 minutes before removing the beads
-Rinse the beads and wipe dry with a lint-free cloth
